Yesterday, I went to the supermarket called "Foodtown" which is located walking distance from my home(about 5minutes), and bought some things I needed.
The place called "Remuera" I'm staying is the area that rich family is living, and not so big twon, but the supermarket was really bigΣ(ﾟдﾟ;)
The opening time of this supermarket is 8am-9pm,Mon-Sun, and I visited at 8pm yesterday but couldn't see all of things by close time.
So I bought only some things I hit on, and below is the products I bought.
Cabbage whole ; NZD 2.48
Prawn cutlets 24 (not like japanese fried cutlet, this is "muki ebi") ; NZD5.75
Pantene conditioner 350ml ; NZD7.69
Pantene shampoo 350ml ; NZD7.69
Sanuki udon (1 tama); NZD1.69 x 2
Kiwi double smoked ham 97%fat free 220g value pack ; NZD 4.79
BBEN s/roll 170g (frozen food) ; NZD 1.55
Watties Toasties (frozen food) ; NZD3.65(-1.16 as sale)
Yogurt berry 6pack ; NZD6.29 (-2.5 as sale)
But, there is no 1cent coin in NZ so 0.01 was rounding, and total is NZD39.60. (I wonder why the cost is setting 0.01unit in spite of no coin...)
For your information, there is also no 5cent coin in NZ, and we can use from 10cent coin. NZ coins were changed from NOV2006, 50c,20c,10c were changed to new design, and old coins cannot be used so just commemoration coin (5c coin was abolished.)
I don't know if this cost is cheap or not yet(because volume for all products are bigger than Japan), but have to study to cut the cost as much as possibleI will visit today again and check closely
This is just recording for me, but thank you for reading if you find this message, this is the end of sentence (w)
